Show Profile For

Name: Alan Langford
Joined Company: 1983

Profile: An ex R.A.T.S member Alan came to Wythall in 1983 and played in our Silver Jubilee production of The Happiest Days of Your Life. He won two best actor awards at the Redditch Drama festival and enjoyed the camaraderie that came from meeting other societies at competitions.

Alan said that he played the Reverend Edward Peck in the Silver Jubilee production and that was the fourth gentleman of the cloth he had played - "I'm beginning to wornder, did I pick the wrong profession?"

Alan rembered his part of Wally in Move Over Mrs Markham with a great deal of pleasure. But noted that his easiest part was in the court-room drama Night of January 16th where he played the court stenographer and didn't have to say a word! He said that his craziest part was as Gordon in the Farndale - Murder Mystery.
