Profile: In an early programme for Wythall, Barbara was described as "precise, efficient and concientious".
Born in Birmingham and growing up in Erdington. Husband Ron, also a Midlander, gave her the Clulee name, a well-known local name.
Barbara did have an ambition to act but it was less of an ambition than to administer. She did take parts in one-act plays, but she gained as much pleasure from her interest in local affairs. Barbara was in Wythall's first production of one act plays in 1958 playing Ivy in 'Charade'.
She was a Parish Councillor and a manager of Hollywood County Primary School, Highters Heath.

"Two founder members of Wythall Theatre Company, It's president Jack Parramore and the ever involved Barbara Clulee, have died in the same week both in their eighties."
"Jack, latterly a familiar front of house figure as he welcomed parons the groups productions, had had a stage reputation in his heyday for his impeccable comedy timing. Barbara was described by a member of the company as the sort of person drama groups rely on - who didn't care whether she was on stage or not, as long as she could make herself useful" John Slim
Barbara was described, by company members at the AGM in 2005, as a dedicated member of the company who would do anything to help. Even in later years she was known to travel on a bus, bring a shopping bag, full of painting rollers - to paint the flats for a show! The company cannot thank Barbara enough for the commitment and support she showed to WTC.
