Press Release:
Wythall Theatre Company presents 'BOEING BOEING'
By Marc Camoletti
Translated by Beverley Cross & Francis Evans
Bernard is engaged to Gloria. And to Gabriella. And to Gretchen. Three beautiful flight attendants kept secret from each other only by Bernard’s precise timetables of flights in and out of Paris.
This perfectly orchestrated arrangement, carefully timed and tested, begins to unravel when an old friend from America shows up, the weather changes the flight patterns and Boeing invents a faster engine, Bernard’s three foxy fiancées converge on his swank flat at the same time, igniting a mad dash of slamming doors, hidden women and nick-of-time manoeuvres as Bernard tries desperately to keep them unaware of each other and in so doing ends up in creating the perfect storm and a hilarious night of theatre.
Winner of the 2008 Tony Award for “Best Revival of a Play” and immortalized in 1965 by Tony Curtis and Jerry Lewis, BOEING BOEING is a high-flying physical comedy classic
An amateur production by arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH Ltd
Tickets: Tues Eve all seats £9.75*
Weds – Fri £11.75* & £10.75* (disc rate)
*inclusive of a 75p booking fee per ticket up to a maximum of £3
