Members of Wythall Dramatic Society acquitted themselves with distinction when they took' part in the Festival of Acting and Musical Entertainment staged recently the Old Repertory Theatre Birmingham.
Their presentation "Woman in a Dressing Gown" by Ted Willis, produced by Mike Beamish won the FAME rose bowl for a “high standard acting and over-all tea work" and in addition to this honour, a Certificate of Merit was awarded to Val Archer for superb performance as leading lady in the production.
