Roger Warren
Roger has played so many parts in real life, he is not sure where the theatre ends and reality begins! He has been a barman, mini-cab driver, storeman, computer assembler…..and finally a teacher. It is easy to see why he finds acting so natural.
He joined the society in 1989 playing assorted characters in the Olde Tyme Music Hall. Abigail’s party saw him as the harassed husband Lawrence, he was Neville in Seasons greetings and Mr Shanks the bra salesman in Habeas Corpus.
Roger was recently seen as the humorous Gordon in Neville’s Island and as Uncle Louis in Lost in Yonkers. He has also won two awards for best actor, one as Jeff in Straight and Narrow and one for Mike Mason in Blood Money. In 2005 he gave a wonderful performance of the gangster like Uncle Louis in Lost in Yonkers.
His acting ambition is to play Banforth in The Long and The Short and The Tall.
Roger currently performs at Hall Green Little Theatre but continues to support the Company as a Wythall Angel.
